Welcome to the Lancaster University Network Mobility group research page.
Our group is based in the Computing Department at Infolab21. We carry out research
in a number different areas related to IP Network Mobility, including NEMO, MANET, MANEMO, location/identifier separation techniques and more.
Research & Current Activities
Our research group is currently involved in a number of activities in the field of mobility and wireless computing:
MANEMOThe Integration of MANET and NEMO technologies to produce comprehensive IP mobility solutions.
- Location / Identifier Separation
Separating the logical coupling of location and host identification imposed by IP to inherently support mobility in the Internet.
- Mountain Rescue
A challenging domain for testing our protocols and developing applications.
